Philippines trip
Sunday, March 25th, 2007As of today, I am switching my blog to English. I apologize to all my German readers out there. It’s just that there are many people out there who would like to read my blog, if it only were in English.
This last week I was in Quezon City, Philippines, as part of a team with Greatest Gift Ministries. We spent a lot of our time working on a church building that was half finished. Other things we were involved with were passing out gift boxes, feeding programs for kids, Bible studies and just spending time with people. It was an amazing and humbling experience, to really see poverty first-hand and to see that people are still joyful because they are spiritually rich. The exact opposite of Japan. In that sense, both countries can benefit from each other and we were able to play a little part in getting churches connected. Check out the pictures.
